This has become the popular surface for the hockey pitches , comprising of 18mm-30mm texturised fibre which provides an unrivaled smooth finish that is dressed with a layer of sand to give stability . It retains speed and the appearance that is almost equal to the playing characteristics of a top level water based pitch.
Both Hockey and Tennis are using this surface to great effect. Aesthetically the best looking type of finished product. It also has great longevity if the product used is monofilament yarn.
